Computer Science with Snap is an introductory coding class that explores the wonders of computing while learning how to write functional computer programs using UC Berkeley’s coding resource Snap, programming language used in online classes such as Beauty and Joy of Computing and AP-level computer science courses. Students will problem-solving skills and learn to break apart problem to understand it. We will explore essential coding concepts such as: Functions, Abstraction, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Program Design, while designing and programming a game to showcase all of these concepts.
